R'lyeh suit makes it's debut
I'd been talking about the R'lyeh set among my friends for a while before the colours were finalised, and by the time it came to make an order I'd convinced two friends of mine that they needed to get in on the deal - once in a life time and all that. Neither have any Scots heritage and so weren't interested in kilting, but I'd shown of them some photos of tartan trews and some photos like this:

... and he decided he'd like a R'lyeh suit.
So fast forward - we received the tartan, and he started looking around for a suitably qualified tailor to begin work. This took a while - not everyone had the ability, and among those who did, few had the confidence to do this using a heavyweight fabric not designed for suiting. He eventually found someone he was happy with, and took the tartan along for his first fitting.
A few weeks later, additional fittings, and here we are :)

He's stoked, and I must admit I'm very impressed.
He says when he can afford it, he'll remove the buttons on it and replace them with horn ones, and he's also got a neck tie and a bow tie in the "sett set".
