NTIF is just around the corner. Is everyone in north Texas pumped for great Celtic music?
I will be there manning the Clan Keith tent as usual. Stop by and say hi.

I'm sure I'll be there with most of my family for one of the days. I hope we don't get the freezing precipitation we got last year.

Yeah, we had to pack up Sunday morning last year to make it home before all the bridges iced over. Hoping for much better weather this year.

Maybe you should extend invitations to us folks from the Upper Midwest and we can act as the designated drivers if you get snow again this year….
Best,

Ha....when BD and Minus mention "bad weather", you have to put it in perspective. Bad weather to a Texan is when the temperature drops to slightly below freezing and the roads gather some ice. To me, bad weather what's happened to Chicago and Boston over the last few weeks. :-)

Yes... yes... it is all relative. Speaking of relative, some of our relatives on the Irish side (my wife's side) in the Boston area got it pretty bad, indeed. By comparison we tend to have it pretty darned easy in the Lone Star State when it comes to mother nature's winter shenanigans. I do, however, still hope we have pleasant Spring weather for this year's NTIF.

I was raised in Michigan so I know how to drive in snow and ice. However; being in Texas most others don't know how to do this. I've watched people step on the gas at a green light, then do donuts across the intersection and then flip off the people trying to drive slowly around them. So, when the roads ice up, I try to stay off them, mainly for fear of what the other guy will do. Here is hoping today is the last cold blast for Texas, and NTIF will have the proper spring weather we expect down here
