    Darning Techniques, Sources and Videos
I have a pair of woolen hose that have developed a hole in the toe of one. Does anyone have any sources to recommend on how I can learn to darn this hole shut and do it right. Ideally, the repair would be long lasting and stop the hole's development. Any recommendations on books, internet sites and videos would be most appreciated. Thanks in advance.

YouTube is your friend. You will find videos on how to do it. Some better than others. Got the yarn and needles from JoAnn's. Used a light bulb inside of the sock to hold it in position.

I usually shake my finger while I darn something. Like..."Darn you holey sock!"
