    As another climbing instructor I'd have to whole heartedly agree with you on this one. The kilt seemed to work ok for this guy, but in general I'd say it is a bad idea. No way to get properly harnessed up unless you do that completely under the kilt which brings on a whole other set of problems.

    Actually, it's not that hard. You can be sure he's wearing shorts underneath and the kilt is simply wrapped around above the leg straps. The BOC plot 'chute makes for easy and clean deployment - the handle is clearly visible on the right at waist level.

    I stand corrected on this point, thank you sir. However, rock climbing in a kilt is not something that I think could be easily accomplished.
