Hi everyone!

After almost exactly four weeks of being pretty much off-line, I am back - albeit for a much reduced daily on-line 'hourage'.

The long, dark winter evenings, and some days, allowed me to sit at this keyboard for hours on end soaking up (almost) everything you had to say, and throwing in my fivepenny-worth whenever I felt moved to do so. Suddenly, Spring arrived and with it the need for hours to be spent outside working in my garden, walking, socialising, etc., etc. Even interior decorating has become 'do-able' again with the increased hours of daylight. Unfortunately, there are only so many hours in each day and all this physical activity means that there is now much less time available (for me, at least) to be on-line.

I have missed you all - I've not even lurked - but I am back now. Please forgive me if I have not responded to queries or comments I have not read. It's going to take me quite a while to catch up - and I may not be on-line again for a day or two - so, if there is anything I have missed that anyone considers to be of vital importance, please E-mail me a nudge or a pointer to it. I am on: lycrakilt@aol.com and I am more likely to pick that up than messages deeply embedded in this or other forums.

OK ....... I'd better start reading.....
