    Kilt2

I was browsing through the kiltstore website, when I came across this link http://www.kilt2.com/ Has anybody heard of them before? Apparently, they have created a revolution when it comes to kilt wearing. I know it looks shocking, but the more I look at it, the more I like it...I dont know, maybe Im going crazy....

    At $600 - $1100, I'll pass.

I don't like the look anyway, too "busy".

They are xpensive indeed. Very fashion oriented, more like something you would see on a runway. Apparently, they have had well over 1000 sattisfied customers already.

I'm willing to bet that those customer's are not typical highland kilt wearers. ;)

Nor "casual" wearers. I'd say Iņaki's right; they are for the "statement in style" crowd, dressing to attract attention.

    Those things look ridiculous.

I understand that "ridiculous" is a compliment among the kids.

    I'm not a kid.

Maybe with some, but being a young adult myself (21), I would have to agree that these really look ridiculous. I saw these when they first emerged and I was severely dissapointed in their product.

Although this is a product you can get through the kiltstore (link above), I don't think I "get it."

    (My moniker, below, is appropriate...)

Someone brought these to light a while back and I wasn't real impressed with them then either. I think you guys are right on about the kilts being for the fashionistas vice the regular/casual wearer. If I were to be thinking of getting one of these I think I would wait until the fashion wave passes and the price does a drastic drop or better yet, grab one cheap off ebay once they are out of style.

This is definitely for a niche market... I'm just not sure what niche!
