Jonesing reaches a new pitch of intensity

I just checked the status of my order on the Kiltstore website. It's in Packing!! Estimated shipping date is tomorrow by Fedex. (Yes, I know Fedex is bad on duties but this is a replacement kilt on which I have already paid duties, so they' better not f^@$ with it!). If it doesn't get held up in customs it could get here Tuesday. If not, then I'm out of town until Saturday and the jonesing will be doubly bad, knowing I am there and the kilt is resting at home after a long journey, recovering from jet lag. This will be the Gordon Modern tank I had to return once because they pleated to the sett instead of the stripe, and obligingly agreed to a redo. I'll post some pics ASAP. .

Now I'm going to spend the next 3 days obsessively checking the Fedex tracking system. So, what will arrive first, the SF balmoral from Glengarry.com, the oatmeal hose and buzz kidder from the Tartans Museum, or the Kiltstore package. If they all hit the stoop when I'm out of town I'll have some large 'splainin' to do when I get home.
