    A few good opportunities

In the recent round of exchanges with www.scottishkilts.net I noticed a few really good deals being offered. They are having a sale right now with 10% off of most product. This spring sale follows the Christmas sale, the Robbie Burns day sale, and the St. Patrick's day sale

I figured I would pass it on to you lot just in case anyone was interested.

I know a few people have had their eyes on the Isle of Skye tartan. Under $300 US sounds good to me http://scottishkilts.net/products/st...ched_kilt.html

They also have a screaming deal on the Polyviscose models and other kilts and jackets.

    Have a look.

Not to knock anything about the company itself, but you may want to check your currency converter...

GBP is now OVER 2X the USD. It's KILLING US based celtic companies that import product... 175 GBP is over $350 USD.

That being said, it still looks like a good deal!

I can only imagine Rocky. I am sure that even US companies that import Canadian product are being hit given the difference in $$$$ value over the last 5 years or so. I know alot of Canadian businesses being hit by the lack of spending from US firms and even tourists. Anyway, back on topic......

I have found most online currency converters that are built in to be a "best guess" type of scenario.

I was basing the $300 on their converter.

I was really tempted by the Isle of Skye 8 yarder, but decided toinstead upgrade my Weathered MacKenize from a 5 to an 8.

Here's an example of an easy way to get a current approximation of a currency conversion:

    250 GBP in USD
