Jay King an XMTS member and fellow PSD/Combat Medic just arrived in-country the other day wearing his Operation Iraqi Freedom Kilt...Man, I was so jealous, but really glad to see him.
He said I was welcome to try it on as we're about the same size, although he looks like he's lost some weight and I've gained a bit training for the highland games...I will try and get some pics.

Did he sign for another tour? Last I heard he was trying to open his own coffee place.

excuse my ignorance, but is the Operation Iraqi Freedom Kilt of a particular tartan? It definately sounds interesting!

Matt Newsome is the kiltmaker and the tartan is registered with the Scottish Tartan Museum, but here she blows!

oh that looks nice; I was imagining something quite different actually but i think that looks much better than what was in my head. What's it made of? I can't imagine wool would be too popular in that heat...
