Another night out
Another night out on the town last night. No pictures, though. I played designated driver for some women who wanted to drink. I wore my new FC in MacPherson Modern for the event. Started with dinner at Gurley Street Grill, one of the better restaurants in downtown Prescott, followed by beer and wine at the Raven Cafe, where a great band was playing.
I'm standing at the bar and I feel someone tug on the back of my kilt. It's a blond with a heavy British accent. She was a Swedish woman who moved to England years before to be a nanny. She wants to know what my tartan is. She was pleased to know that I knew what it was. She said that she had talked to another kilt wearer earlier. When she asked him what his tartan was he told her it was a kilt. He didn't know what a tartan was, she said, and didn't know they had names.
The evening was capped off perfectly when we got pulled over by the police just around the corner from home. Turned out the license plate light on Red_Raven_Studios car was out.
Still a good night.

Babe Magnets
Yep, those kilts are indeed babe magnets. Yesterday, Kilted Friday one of my lady clients where I worked said to me. "I'm suprised that your wife lets you out of the house wearing that. [long pause] You are simply irresistible!
Look forward to the pix!

Sounds like fun, glad you had a good time.
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…
Yes, I have squirrels in my brain…

The Palace
Now, the question I have for you is: have you worn a kilt to the Palace yet?
My friend Marshall Trimble performs there frequently. Hope to make it back to "Preskitt" someday and have a shot at the Palace and toast Buckey O'Neill.

Nope, not there, although I've visited several of the establishments along Whiskey Row, and downtown Prescott kilted. I did see Marshall Trimble in one of the shows at the Elks Theater just off courthouse square.
Any of you valley kilties want a unique kilt evening, come on up here. The atmosphere up here is a totally different experience from the valley.

That's a new one on me - I have never heard of someone wearing a tartan kilt and not knowing the name of the tartan. I should say that I have been known to mix up a couple of my similar tartans, and have a future project to label all my kilts. But I still try to remember what tartan I am wearing, just to answer the odd question.
I am now trying to narrow down the choices for a kilt order to go to Barb. That is hard. Green or Red...... OK, green. Now - Modern or ancient or weathered or dress or hunting or ????? The tartan choices are seemingly endless!
