    Coolmax Kilt Hose?

Anyone ever seen coolmax blended kilt hose? Almost all my regular socks are coolmax.

I don't know what you're talking about, but it sounds like something I would be quite interested in. Kilt hose that are made to be cool, rather than keep you warm, yeah?

Coolmax is a polyester fiber with 4 grooves that move moisture by capilary action along their length. I am the guy that goes out in a flannel shirt when everyone else has on a parka, so I am always looking for cooler clothing. I find socks especially benefit from this moisture management capability. I used to wear cotton or wool socks, but now have almost exclusively Coolmax blends. I have hiking, casual, and dress socks in Coolmax blends.

Ordered my first kilt today (Hunting MacLeod Semi-Traditional from USA Kilts) along with 2 pairs of the wool blend kilt hose Rocky sells. Just hoping to find some Coolmax ones.

If you find any, please let me know. I'm the same way- either shorts or a kilt w/o hose keep me going for about 9 months of the year.

Just wear coolmax liners under your wool kilt hose and you will get the benefits of both, and it really doesn't make your feet any hotter---just drier.

They may not suit your needs/ desires but soccer socks are nice and tall, and would certainly be available in high tech yarns.
