Talking Geddy Lee in a kilt!

I'll tell ya up front i dont have any pics BUT the awesome scale was tipped

A while back me and a couple friends decide to drive to Montreal to see Rush.
Now after being stuck in a three hour traffic back up and dealing with parking and the metro we were rewarded with three hours of Rush's awesome show. i was unaware that They usually have a small movie segment opener thing, and i was blown away when in the video Geddy Lee was dresses in full Highland attire complete with fake red mutton chops and the character moniker Harry Satchel. i was slightly disappointed that Geddy didn't actually play in a kilt But it was really cool. Not to mention on the second day while wandering around old montreal we ran into a fellow on vacation in a Utilikilt! his wife was so surprised when i asked if it was a utilikilt she told us that i was the first person to ask that instead of asking if he was Scottish lol. On the off note i found an army surplus store that sells old Black watch kilts, i had no money but will definitly be heading back one day

In the end our trip was amazingly kiltfull and i loved every minute of it.

Sound like a good trip. You may want to check out some of the kilt make here as you plan your trip back.

I don't know why, but Rush has been underrated. They're just tremendous.
Montreal sounds like a neat city.

underrated!! you kidding?? they're in a lot of mags and programs that say "100 best bands" or "best bands of the 70/80s"!

too bad he didn't play in a kilt, that would be cool to see.

Underrated by the public. Even in the rock scene, too many folks go for "image."
Rush is THE most technically proficient and artistic band out there. Been a huge fan, but lost touch with their music awhile back.

depends on what people you hang with. if you hang with the scenester music group then of course they'll go for image, but if you hang with actual musicians than they should tell how great rush is or if you hang with drummers we'll especially tell you how good neil peart and rush is.

Ok. I actually attended at that very Rush Concert. The band was really great...and played their hearts out. I had not seen them in concert in over 25 years...

What I don't understand is the "chicken"....Any clue?

YES the chicken, its said that thats how Geddy gets his bass to sound soo good while the actual reason is that since the band decided to channel Geddys bass through the in-house speaker system he has all this empty space behind him a while back they were dryer machines and some other stuff too. Yeah rush is an amazing band/ where did you sit RCALLAN? i was a couple rows infront of the FoS(front of house)
