I'm off to Flanagan's to purchase my first UtiliKilt. A black mocker I've had my eye on since the Best Legs contest. This will be my second kilt.

Tuesday nite I am going down to check out a custom made leather sporran. The man assures me I will lust after it.

Last nite I went to ou season ending bowling party. It happened to be a tail gate party for a UofA football game. I got tons of comments and two cute young women were very eager to talk to me about kilts. I think everyone's right, it's the confidence that people find attractive.

Absolutely right on the nose with the confidence thing. A man wearing a kilt is just a man wearing a kilt- we look precisely the same from the knees down and the waist up as we do the rest of the time. But the fact that we can confidently strap on a kilt and wear it as if it were completely normal- and look good doing it- is what makes the girls notice us. And notice us they do- usually in quite a positive manner.

Wear the UK with pride- and I expect pictures of you in it. A couple of pics of this custom sporran for our opinion would be fantastic too!
