looking for opinions and advice

I am getting ready to order a kilt from swk. I have narrowed it down to either the black heavyweight wool or the saffron heavyweight wool. I am planning to order either late tonight or in the morning. I would really like to have opinions on which one to get. right now I can only afford one. I need to get a sporran as well I am thinking about a freelander (which is why i can only afford one). until now all of my kilts have been UK's so I haven't worn a sporran with them.

I have a black and a saffron. I love the saffron. Of course, I should mention that my black is not an SWK. I say go for the saffron.

I also have a saffron, and I love it. Especially now, in autumn, it looks perfect.

OK, so I have to for saffron, anyone else want to offer advice? Another question is which would go better for semi-formal I.E. somewhere you would wear a suit and tie but not a Tux?

The saffron would be good. I think it looks great with semi formal attire. The black would look great too, though, and is more versatile. Mu black Amerikilt matches absolutely everything and dresses up really well. So that is an "either this or that" kind of answer. Black is easier to match, though...
