500th post, spam alert !
I just noticed that I had 499, so this is 500. I don't say all that much, so it's a milestone, for sure.
I do enjoy this board, thanks everybody !
Why's it still say 499 ? I am so confused.

Off topic messages are not counted in the great scheme of X marks - you need to post to a more reputable area of the forum to clock up your 500th.

Howard,
Congratulations on your (almost) 500th post.
To answer your question, posts in the Off Topic and Celebration Zone forums do not add to one's post count.
Those forums can be a lot of fun but they don't add any information to XMTS about kilts or things Celtic.

Oh, thanks for the enlightenment lesson !
I'm not sure I ever add anything valuable about kilts, really. Except that I do enjoy wearing them.

As I'm sure you must have noticed, having something valuable to contribute to this board has never been much of a requirement.
I dare say, many of us would have been dropped a long time ago if it were a requirement.

Yes I did Robert, and thank you!
I promise at some point in the not too distant future I will get pics and a review of your fine work up here. Busy, busy, right now.
I am behind. It is a good thing, given the current economic situation. I am thankful for paying work.
