Isle of Skye and Firefighters PV!
Hey Guys,
We have 2 new tartans to add to our line of PV tartans (for our Casual and Semi Traditional kilts):
Isle of Skye &
Firefighters Memorial
The Firefighters Memorial will be the same price as the rest of our "standard" PV tartans and we will STILL be giving 15% of each kilt sold to the Leary foundation.
The Isle of Skye tartan will carry a $15 surcharge per kilt... the material costs us DOUBLE what standard PV tartans cost due to the special shades of colors used and the royalties paid to the designer (Rosemary). The $15 HELPS to vocer that cost (though it doesn't cover it entirely).
The tartans are NOT on the site yet, but we DO have the material in hand. You can always call an order in if you don't want to wait for me to take pics and get them on the site: 610.935.3444

I think you'll find it somehow.
Good luck there, Aldisimo.
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…

Rocky,
HOW did you know I was counting my loose change collection this evening????
Gotta be around $150...a fair start towards a firefighter memorial semi-trad...jeez Louise.....like I need another kilt....but then five years rolling with the fire dept....dang...
Gotta ponder this one....

The Isle of Skye has a fringed selvedge.
The Firefighters has (and ALWAYS will have) a Kilting Selvedge since it's a special weave and we're able to specify.

I'm glad I saw this tread. I've been planning to order a IOS kilt since it went up on the USA website, but I hate to say the fringe edge is a deal-breaker for me.

More options are always good. IOS should sell like hot cakes around these parts.
