Teacher Talk
My Beloved, a somkin hot young thing. I do love the younger women. She's 42 (All hail Douglas Adams), where as, I am 42 and a half. Anyway, while in a teachers meeting the subject of "What is under the Kilt" came up. Now my beloved holds two masters, and all of her schooling is teaching. She is a very reserved woman, who believes that teachers should be outstanding role models, as well as highly educated. For the life of me I don't see how I was able to blackmail her to get a first date. She has the looks and the brains, I am just around for the heavy lifting. Background info is so you can understand that she knows what she is talking about when she decides to speak. I know, way too much information, I digress:
The topic got a little exciting, and there was much giggling. My beloved started to speak up on the topic, and was quickly over talked. She didn't think twice about it, and went on with her work. Her close friends, as well as a couple of teachers that started their student teaching for her all know that I drag her to various Scottish events. Her principle also knows, and asked her why she didn't push the issue. Her reply was "They already know everything, what more could I add?"
One thing has evolved from this, I obviously need to wear my kilt more.

The meetings at her school seem to run very differently from the ones I have to attend. Can I transfer to your district?

When given a choice, most people will choose.

I just spent 2 hours in an elementary school faculty meeting. Not much that's discussed actually has much to do with me, but I've given up bothering trying to chime in even occasionally. As your wife said, they all think they know everything already...but each and every one of them feels the overpowering need to speak up and tell everyone else about it. <shudder>
