    Tooled leather kilt accents

Alt.Kilt had the pleasure of working again with Obvious Magazine early in September to put on a fashion presentation show during New York Fashion Week featuring 16 new custom made kilts. I just finished a photo shoot that did detailed product shots of each kilt - I will be publishing them on flicker (one a day for 13 days starting October 1st) but I thought I would share a few here.

One of my favorite things that is new is leather work by Jeff Peterson of Katana Design Studio. We figured out a way to do removable (for easy care) accent panels of hand tooled leather and I just love how they look so I wanted to show them off

The top one is very cool. I might try something like that along the apron edge at some point. You're full of good ideas!

Very nice. I especially like the first pic with the running knotwork. Though on a windy day, the second would help hold down the apron front for sure.

I love the leather accents. Really makes a mod kilt stand out. Great work.
