All best from Canada
Hello Fellows!
I'm brand new here, from Canada - an old fellow; I retired from my first job as principal (headmaster) of an elementary ((primary) school and am now a priest with the Anglican Church of Canada (Episcopal). My Gr. 8 project was a small book on Scottish History & the tartans, so you can tell that it's been a passion for a lifetime.
I'm actually no Scot at all
My mother was of English descent, and my father was Jewish, so I guess my clan would be the MacGoldsteins (!) but last summer in Edinburgh I was measured up and now take great pleasure in the beauty of the Ancient Clergy (Blue) kilt which hangs in my closet and comes out for as many occasions as I think I can handle.
Glad to be here; "X-Marks" was and continues to be one of my research locations.
