interesting vintage photo
This just came up on Ebay.
It's labelled on the back "Songs Of Scotland". The seller say that that was the title of a 1930s movie but doesn't know if there's any connexion.
It's very interesting, the variety of dress shown:
-a black Argyll jacket worn with full hose, Mary Janes, a high-collared shirt, large bow tie, horsehair sporran, plaid
-a Regulation Doublet
-the various sporrans (some similar to the BW pattern)
-the Pipe Major's dress, a goat hair sporran, the Pipe Major's stripes going under the cuff
-the black spat buttons (Gordon Highlanders)
