Harpenden Highland Gathering - 2013
A super-hot day. Started off cool enough, so we were able to set up in relative comfort. Jordan arrived early and was a tremendous help all day - Thank you.
Just a few pictures to get us started and I will add more as the thread progresses.
To all those posting pictures - Please add captions!
Anyway - All set up - ready for the day to begin -

"The Marquee" - Information tent and meeting place. The only Saltires flying on the whole gathering. And the left hand one leaned all day!
Harpenden Pipe Band (Host Band) marching into the Band Circle.

Then they turned and did their stuff -

Some quick kilt shots -

And then the Group shot. 13 XMarkers in the picture - Paul Henry was busy with a customer and couldn't make it and Lynn (the piper) was having heat stroke in the first aid tent.
So a grand total of 15 XMarkers and two sons all together at one time - Is this a record?

Right over to you all - will post more in a while.

Derek was behind the moustachioed Wallace kilt. Apologies I did not mean to obscure him. Will post pictures of the event tomorrow including an image of Paul H if anyone can Photoshop. A nice day and some marvellous company. Would go again.

Really was a great day getting to chat to old friends and make new one. Shehan is now on the forum as 'Mini Kilt Wearer', and thoroughly enjoyed himself.
