Thank you, Nick!
A huge THANK YOU, Nick, to you, Stewart, your team at Scotweb, and the folks at D.C. Dalgliesh!
I just happened to have been looking at the status of some outstanding orders, and noticed that one of the orders had been split, showing a portion of the order was being packed for shipment. The portion being readied for shipment included two of the three 8yd hand-sewn D.C. Dalgliesh kilts I have ordered recently. That these first two kilts, being custom short-run weaves, are coming TWO MONTHS EARLIER than expected, just blows me away. I can't wait to receive them!
I would also like to thank yourself and Stewart for forwarding this photo last Wednesday, of Helen finishing up the Buchanan Reproduction - That really made my day!

Ah! That looks fantastic. Love Dalgliesh fabric. You must post pictures of the finished article. Very nice choice on the "reproduction" pallet.

If they arrive by Friday, I'll be wearing one or the other of them, to a Celtic Woman concert, Saturday evening. So I'll get pics of at least one of them, next weekend.
As to the color palette, I already have a heavyweight modern, and a lightweight ancient, in the Buchanan tartans. This reproduction (and the hunting ancient that is also part of this order), will round out and complete my Buchanans. I agree, I think this one looks great! These will be my first Dalgliesh weaves, and my first hand-sewns. Really looking forward to them!
