Kilts in the Burbs
The First ever Kilts in the Burbs was held last night at St. James Well in Port Moody, BC. It was a small gathering of 10 people with the majority in kilts. When I arrived at the pub, I didn't even have to ask, they already pointed me to the table where Colin, Andrew, Kiltedchic and Khensu were arleady at.
Before I arrived, I had a feeling that we were going to meet a Scotsman and he was going to talk some 'trash' about our kilts and how we wore them. Too bad Bear wasn't there, he would've had some interseting conversation with him.
Just as we were leaving, that guy spoted us and started to tell his drinking buddy/friend about our kilts and that our kilts weren't wool. His friend looked at our kilts and said that he was a member of the SFU Rugby Team and the team is expecting a delivery of 4 kilts from a local Kilt maker.
That was my recollection of the First ever Kilts in the Burbs, hopefully there will be more KIB in the future.
