    Passion for your Kilt!

I have just started to wonder a little bit about the passion that I hold for the Kilts. Everyone that I have met that is a Kilt man, on the internet or out on the town, seems to have a great deal of passion for the Kilt. I know that my friends here in Vancouver hold the same passion that I do and most of them aren't Scotish at all. Where does the passion come from
I know that for me it is a great deal of Pride for my history, family and Country. I also know that it takes a real Man to wear a Kilt out and about, so the pride of being a MAN comes into play. The fact that most women go absoultly crazy for a MAN in a Kilt seems to make me wear my Kilt more and more . I am passionate about women so maybe that has something to do with it as well.
Well guys what do you think

My name is Robert and I'm a mugoholic

I must admit to my addiction...the pleasure of turning a rectangular piece of material into a wonderful garment that is super comfortable is a reward. The conversations that strike up because I'm wearing a kilt...the fact that a majority of women like a man in a kilt and will outright say so.
I'm in big trouble whith my daughters and co-workers when I don't wear a kilt. I have no choice...my name is Robert and I'm a mugoholic.....

Aside from the fact that its a significant departure from standard mens attire, the freedom of movement and comfort it affords is a revelation indeed. The passion I believe is rooted in its assocation with the warrier / macho image it exudes. It enhances what you've got.

It is an attention getter... definitely a motivating factor

For me its also a symbolic gesture of kinship with my celtic roots.

    Passion for your kilt

The connection with a true warrior's spirit, a very comfortable garment, we look and feel great in one. We also stand out, it gets attention. Some more desirable than others.

Nah, you've all got it wrong, the truth is plain to see.
It's like this you see, the Scots, in the weaving mills in Scotland where they make the tartan, they dip the tartan in a liquid substance, the chemical makeup remains a closely guarded secret. This unknown substance is regarded a being a very addictive thing and is designed to make the person who dons the kilt become addicted to wearing it.

The outcome is obvious, you all know the feeling when you take the kilt off at night. Classic withdrawal!!

Wake up lads, you're all kilt junkies, admit it!!

To Bear, Chris and other kilt makers, I beg you to sew in a label which reads "warning - kilt wearing is addictive".

Then we would have to post all the other warnings. i.e. beware of ladies with a glint in their eye etc. as well as answers to the question. Nah let 'em find out for themselves and keep the orders a coming 8) However I like your theory now it wouldn't be 15 year old single maltnow would it?

When I was a young boy my mother tied a towel round my hip after bathe in the North Sea, therewith I do not caught a cold. That was a pleasantly nearly sensual feeling at the legs and I did not forget it for years. I was always sad when I had to put on my shorts again.

As a adult I do not want to get out with a towl wrapped around my hip. A kilt seems to be a good alternative choise.

I'm definitely passionate. For me it is a connection with my Celtic heritage and also because it just looks so damn good!
