For the uninitiated SMHG - Stone Mountain Highland Games.
I had thoughts to do so, but will be attending the Central Virginia Celtic Festival & Highland Games in Richmond. I'll be driving down in my '75 Triumph Spitfire with SAG support of a group Highland Dancers who want to take turns riding with me.
Hope to see you again, Frank at the Alexandria Scottish Christmas Walk. I have a new flavor in my flask for you to try!

Got our tickets this week in the mail. We will be maning the Clan Maclaine of Lochbuie tent and looking forward to seeing all the X Markers again. My wife and I will arrive at the Stone Mountain Campground on the Thursday before the games.

We will be there hosting the clan Ferguson tent , and will see everyone at the 1.00 pm meet at the Scottish Tartan Museum tent.
Last year was one of the largest meets ever.
Looking forward to it.

Connie and I will be there for sure!! We fly in to Atlanta on Friday afternoon, and will be staying at the Stone Mountain Inn through Sunday, then taking in some of the regional sights suggested by y'all a few months ago (Cyclorama, Tullulah Gorge etc.). We are hoping to make it to the Scottish Tartan Museum later in the week as well.
I look forward to finally meeting some of the East Side Gang

Awesome , we look forward to seeing you all there , the Museum is well worth the trip.
As you stay at the mountain , I just wanted to add that the ticket wrist band to the games will allow you to do everything at the park . you dont have to pay extra ,just show them your wrist band . hope you have fun . see you at the meet up .

For some reason my work calendar filled up for that weekend. BUT, we will be there on Sunday. Lets all meet up if anyone is around for a group pic, we can meet up at my tent Clan MacFarlane if you like. We can do it prior to or right after the parade or the clans. Let me know, see ya then!
