Belted Plaid Wool
Hello everyone. I've been researching the history of the Belted Plaid and the Great Kilt. I've found some amazing information on the proper sizing and all the accessories. I've decided to put one together for my garb. I'm having great difficulty locating one bit of information. When I look into the wool to make one, it carries labels I don't understand. They are all labled as wool. Most are 100% wool. They are listed as Flannel, Welton Weight, Coating Weight, Suiting & Trim, Worsted, Felted & Woolrich. They are all the correct width. Which type of material is the proper material for a Plaid or Kilt?
