    Cutting Edge Kilt Fashion.....

Is this the direction that kilts will take in the future.?

These folks were getting a lot of attention and loving it! It may not be conventional kilt attire but at least they weren't in trousers!

    insignia on shirts...

    Blu,

Do you know these folks personally?

Is the insignia on their shirts a German eagle?

Being more the conservative type the look is not my cup of tea but as some one has pointed out at least they're not wearing trousers!

Don't know them personally, but they were having a blast posing for numerous other cameras. The insignia on the shirts looked rather Eastern European but I haven't been able to identify it positively yet. At first I wondered if it was a trademark for a particular brand of clothing. Although unconventional, they had obviously taken great care in their selection of accessories to achieve that look.

I do like the way they accesorised, and has been said previously, no trousers. They definetly were great sight for those in attendance, traditional or not.

It looks similar to the Federal Eagle (Bundesadler) used by the German Army (Bundeswehr). This design is outdated. Follow the links to have a look at the modern design: http://www.bundestag.de/htdocs_e/ or http://www.schekker.de
