    Kilted Hiking

Today I finally brought my daughter out for a hike. We went to Laughing Brook Sanctuary in Hampden MA. If any of you folks are from the western mass area I'd definitely recommend going there. Some beautiful trails and you can see Thornton Burgess's house and studio. I wore my SWK economy black watch. I'd forgotten just how comfortable hiking in a kilt was.

Here are a few pics from the day.

Probably the five to ten kilometers I several times a week will walk in nature can’t be called hiking, but apart from that I certainly agree with you: It is extremely comfortable to wear a kilt.

Looks like the entire family was enjoying themselves. What a great day for a hike!

    Kilted Hiking

I have been hiking in a couple of western Pennsylvania's state parks - Moraine and Raccoon Creek - several times since May. The freedom of movement means you use less energy moving and can seemingly walk for as long as you want. Definitely better than hiking in either pants or shorts.
