If you do not succeed.... RICHMOND GAMES....Pro and Cons?,,,never attended...

Well, I looked forward all year to attend the two day event at the Virginia Games, at the Plains, only to fall victim to an attack of the dreaded Kidney stones, (going it for removal on the 20th). Had the surgery on Saturday to install stint, and correct infection, and made it a point to attend for a few hours on Sunday (better of the two days, due to rain). Went early stayed until I got exhausted, and crowds were too much to take, and left. Total time was 4 hours. I only wish I could have stayed longer, as I wanted to see and do so much more, and especially spend time at Clan Donald''s tent, but the fatigue of just having an operation the day before took over.

So, now I have Richmond to look forward too. I know I am going Saturday and Sunday is still a possibility, depending on how I feel, should be OK, have to wait and see.

Never been to the Richmond games, the drive is about an hour and half from house, but I plan to leave early to arrive early, and leave a little before games close for the day.

Can anybody tell me about the Richmond games, pros and cons, what to see, etc. I really am excited about attending and just hope no more medical issues crop up.....been a tough year this year between downsizing, moving to smaller place, selling my house of 23 years, prepping the house for sale, selling a log of my belongings, very stressful, but something that has to be done before I retire.

OK back to subject, any comments about the Richmond Games?
