X Marks the Scot has a Scottish Country Dance!

    Hi All,

This past weekend I was in a group of Scottish Country Dancers and was taught the dance…X Marks the Scot! The description and crib can be found here:

    https://www.scottish-country-dancing...-the-scot.html

It was a fun dance with lots of twirling and an X pattern.

We are mentioned in the divisor’s description!

    Cheers

Very interesting dance - and it has solved the problem I had with the tune - I play for various genres and May is approaching at a gallop. The Maypole is being fettled, I have been practicing suitable tunes - but somewhere I picked up that one and never learned the title of it. Fine when I am playing solo but when helpful people want to join in I need to tell them the name of the tune (granted they then scuttle off and google it, but extra band is always welcome)

I am no dancer, but that is a rather nice compliment.

    That's really cool!!

I missed it, what's the "name tune"?
