Fergus-2005...
It was an overcast but pleasant day yesterday at the Fergus Scottish Festival. There was a good turnout and the festival streets were crowded. There was a noticeable increase in the number of utility style kilts being worn this year. Amid the smell of BBQ ribs, french fries, and hamburgers, both MacHummel and R-kilts were quite busy plying their wears. Here's a couple of photos...

Me, watching my wife get flustered with the digital camera. :-?

We unfortunately couldn't stay more than a few hours but had fun while we were there.

Great pics, Blu. I've been festival-deprived this summer, but I'm planning to change that next weekend at the Hunter Mountain Celtic Festival.

Fergus Games
Wow!
After our beautiful wedding the week before, we geared up to cut our teeth at our home town games and I was shocked at the response we got and the number of orders that were taken. I really appreciated the advice and support from the other vendors, especially Canucks and Kilted Stuart, who not only braved the rain but added the extra moral support for a newbie to the scene. Also Archangel and Blu, it was great to have met you and I hope we'll see you soon. Last but not least, I'd like to thank my beautiful wife for delaying our honeymoon by one week so we could be at the games. She is one of a kind.
I know this is long winded and drawn out, but I'm very grateful for everything.
Thank you
MacHummel

Hey...what's with all the modesty....can't google up "Canada Casual Kilts"
MacHummel doesn't have a link on his profile...
Is this some sort of secret kiltmaking venture?
What's the scoop??

It was a cloudy and rainy day,
Blu once again gave the mastery of photography a fantastic view.
