Does it get any better?
OK, spent the weekend in Orlando at Disney, Animal Kingdom, and Epcot, as well as a reunion with others who have adopted internationally with the same agency we used for our 2 beautiful daughters. Got home yesterday afternoon and waiting in the mail were my new kilt hose from Sierra trading (thanks Auld_argonian), and fabric samples from Jeff at Pittsburgh Kilts.
To add to the delight, the tan AK I ordered last week was waiting for me at the office when I got in today and I am impressed. The only part I am unsure of is the hem. They use (at least on the one I received) an X or cross-stitch over the selvedge instead of turning under a 1/8 - 1/4 of material and using a straight stitch, which I think would look better. Not a big deal, but surprised me.
So tonight I am sitting here listening to my 2 new OffKilter Celtic Music CD's and my wife has agreed to let me order not 1 but TWO kilts from Jeff! One in a herringbone pattern for work, and one in a blue-gray lined with flannel that should be great for outdoor activities this winter.
The only thing that could make this day any better, other than possibly winning the lottery, is a private activity between my wife and I!
