Experimenting again
Thought I'd try my old Cilt with my brown boots and sort of 'off bluish' socks. I think I will buy a blue surplus pullover and wear a denim shirt and see how that all looks then. Again comments again good or bad appreciated.

I like this combination....can't think of anything wrong here....shoes, hoses, shirt and pullover match and the kilt stands out nicely

Derek - What tartan is that? It looks like it may be Blue Mackay?
I have been thinking of getting a tank in Blue Mackay and have a sample at home, but am not sure if I wanted to spend the cash for a kilt in that tartan without seeing it in a completed product.
Either way it looks good!

Blue Mackay is also known as the Morgan tartan. I suspect, since Morgan is a Welsh surname, that is why Derek is wearing it? ;)

IMHO, blues go much better with greys than with browns.

Derek,
The main question I have is that do you feel comfortable with the combination? A blue sweater would look nice, but keep in mind what Hamish says, the kilt should be the main attraction of your attire.
For what it is worth, in all of the pictures you have shared with us, you have always come across as a very confident and comfortable kilt wearer.
