Day Sporran?

Will it FUNCTION as a Sporran? Yes. Will it LOOK GOOD as a Sporran for traditional dress? Not in my opinion. It might work O.K. for a Utilikilt or the like. You wouldn't catch me wearing that fanny pack.

for $70 you could get a nice sporran from alot of places that will give you a triditional look

Why not? It looks nice, seems to hold alot of stuff, I think it'll make a good day sporran.

I already have a few traditional sporrans and I am looking something to wear that is not traditional and functional at the sametime.

It looks good to me, I'd wear it. Have you seen the new Stillwater Sporran?

I say go for it Raphael, you can always return it if it doesn't work out. Personally I think it would look great with several contemporary styls.

I think it would look awful on a kilt. The only important thing, however, is if YOU like it.

Very nice and very simple.

Now, as for the fanny pack mentioned below, I wouldn't wear it with a traditional kilt. It just wouldn't look right. Kind of like wearing sneakers with a suit.
