    Attacked from behind

    Hell-o all,

I was downtown today walking down the Mall when someone across the street yelled "A Man In a Klit". Several people stopped and just had to ask all those questions, when I was attacked from behind by a great big hug, with this "it is always good to see my Uncle Kilt" Yes it was my niece and her husband out for lunch. Oh the joys of kilt wearing.

Yes, but which one attacked you from behind with the big hug?

That is so nice! At first I was a little worried that you had been the victim of those horrible "drive by huggings" that I've heard so much about! ;)

That's very nice. It also made me think of the fact that your niece and her husband may not have recognized you from across the street if you were not kilted. You got lots of attention, people asking questions, and relatives. Every time out in the kilt is a new adventure!

Tomorrow I'm wearing my Irish National to our local Irish pub. I told my son that I will probably get a pint on the house and a free t-shirt for wearing it. And, there will probably be great conversation. I agree, the kilt is a joy to wear.

    You had me worried

You had me worried there G man. With my experiences of being harrassed by drunks I thought for sure this story was going negative. Good on you for getting the hugs.
