Seeing Woodsheals photo's I thought I would post these-

These are not "historically" correct.
I was wearing my box-pleated kilt, late 18th century style and for a whim
started adding on some of my 1745 clothing. I usually wear a great kilt, but what the heck. I took the cockade off my bonnet for some reason so
its not there. It was a cold early winter day so I buttoned up my jacket.

I'm not the greatest photographer!
I was just messing around.

Can you provide some background on the ensemble?
Period, jacket tartan, etc.

The Period of the baghose, shoes, waistcoat and bonnet are of a 1745-6
style of a Highland Jacobite ranker.
I'm wearing a blue waistcoat under the jacket.
The Jacket tartan is none that I know of.

Who made the sweet broadsword? I really like the baldric, too. I would dye it black to match your dirk belt and the sword scabbard, though.

The S Hilt, scabbard was made by Erik Stevenson, the blade is by Angus Trim. The baldric was made by the "Mad Piper".

I'm trying to age the baldric with oils to darken it up. I do agree about
the dirk belt!
