#9, #9, #9...
Kilt #9 arrived Saturday... again.
It arrived the first time on the 10th, but I messed up on the waist size & had to exchange it.
This is my first Stillwater Kilt (Nightstalker) & let me join in the chorus of the many others extolling the virtues & great value of SWK & Jerry's amazingly fast service!
Sure, the SWK doesn't match the fine craftsmanship & quality of my custom-made, hand-tailored, 100% wool, made-in-Scotland traditional "tank," but my tank cost 7½ times as much as the SWK! However, for an everyday, kick around traditional styled kilt that I don't have to worry about messing up & can just throw in the washer, the SWK seems pretty darn close to perfect.
I've been doing a lot of online ordering of various products for a number of years & I tell ya, SWK has THE fastest delivery of anyone I've ever dealt with. I got 3 deliveries from SWK - the first too small kilt, a later order for the Nightstalker sporran & all leather sporran belt, & the exchanged kilt - & each time my stuff was at my door 2 business days later. Great job, Jerry!
Oh, & a few words of praise for the Nightstalker sporran are in order, too. What a great idea adapting modern materials & construction to the sporran. This has now become my regular daywear sporran. With the nylon material & zipper/velcro closures, this makes it obvious that the sporran was the original fanny-pack.
This is my first SWK, but not my last; next I'll get the Standard Black Watch & then the Irish National & maybe the Black Stewart & then...

congratulations on number nine. I just got myself a NS sporran and love it. I don't carry much anyway and it is mucy lighter than my leather ones. I'm hoping that this years new line will have some more interesting tartans. O'Neille

Congrats. I have one of each of his "lines" (econo, standard, and heavyweight.) They are all great products for the money.
