Bye Bye Pants
As of this week, I've finally abandoned pants (at least 99% abandoned)...
Why? Well, after a talk with one of the guys from Utilikilts when he asked me which UKs I owned, he point blank asked why I even bother wearing pants any more...here's why he said it....my UK collection includes:
1) Black Original
2) Khaki Original
3) Tan Courderoy Original
4) Black Mocker
5) Heather Grey Mocker
6) Olive Mocker
7) Postal Blue Mocker
8) Tan Mocker
9) Nightwatch Mocker (A special order for me)
10) Blue Denim Jean Cut
11) Black Spartan
12) Caramel Workmans
13) Black Workmans
14) Chocolate Brown Workmans
15) Black Survival
16) Tan Survival
17) Black Leather (on order being delivered soon)
18) Brown Leather (on order being delivered soon)
So yeah...I think I need to give up pants except for the dire emergency situation w here the client won't like it...thank God I can wear them to the office!

You are obviously a good customer of Utilikilts.
Once a collection of kilts builds up there is a suitable kilt for every occasion and trousers can be worn just once in a while for that very occasional bit of variety.

That's quite a nice collection you have there. Yeah, it's time to replace the pants with the kilts full-time

Yeah Jason looked at me as if I had grown four heads. And considering I just asked Riverkilt if that white workmans of his was still available so we may be at 19 soon.....20 if I indulge in the tuxedo which is the only model i don't own....

The acrylic kilt would certainly be a good choice to add to your flammability.
I wish i had a job that allowed me to wear kilts (and grow a beard for that matter) so my kilt wearing is limited. I HAVE gotten rid of all my jeans and shorts however, since I can't wear them to work.

I have an alphakilt, a sportkilt, 2 Swk thrifties and and 1 economy. I have not worn pants in weeks.
If I were in your position, I would gather my remaining denim shackles, coat them in gasoline, and have myself a bonfire.

I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…

The only situation i can see myself not wearing a kilt would be a client meeting where they would't be open to the kilt. Thankfully most of them are cool with it but there are a few where I just can't pull that off.....also my parents being the increidbly conservative folks that they arehave asked that I not wear them when i visit them so I do honor that request....however if they come to me then it's MY rules LOL
Yep it's a lot of UKs but for me at least are very well made products that gives me a little bit more flexibility than a tartan at the office. Also, they are incredibly well made and the workmans and survival models come in VERY handy when I'm doing load-in on an event.
