Oh the agony!
So, here I am waiting on new kilt from Kiltstore.net that was supposed to be delivered Friday. So, it get's hung up in customs and the fedex site says that it will be here today by 10:30.... And now for the agony, I am heading out to the airport to spend a week in the lovely city of Addison Texas.... and no stinking chance the kilt is going to get here before I leave.... Oh the agony!
On the plus side, I see a kilted weekend coming up in the new kilt with a new sporran by Freelander and new leathers from Cavscout... Ought to be a good weekend. (I wonder if the kiltpin from Robin will make it by then, I would just have to drool all over myself!)

If you'd like me to give you a paper cut and pour lemon juice on it to help take your mind off it
Have a safe trip.

I'm not sure one would do it! Might have to be a ream of paper cuts and a bushel of lemons.... Might come close! Thanks for the wishes for a safe trip. I wish I enjoyed Dallas more, that would help!

Oh, and BTW Cavscout, the leathers go with the sporran wonderfully! Pictures will be forthcoming when I get back in town!

Thanks Splash, looking forward to seeing the whole rig.
It was great to meet your wife Saturday as well. Of course now she knows what I look like and I can't hide as well when she comes to keep me from taking all you money

Let me guess. ummm... You had to file a form with customs that has your SSN on it before they would release the package. This happened with me, anyway, which did extend the jones. Then came the customs duties bill from Fedex. Expect to pay about $35-$45 in duties, based on 12% of the declared value, plus a flat $25 to Fedex for being the customs broker.
