A Christmas gift to all
Having thoroughly enjoyed the Christmas music site recently provided here as a link, and having made Haggis yesterday, I thought it appropriate to wish you all a special Christmas and help to start the New Year on a relaxed and pleasurable note by way of sharing a link to one of my own favorite enjoyments, Irish coffee!
For years while traveling to San Francisco and what was then the Santa Clara Valley, now the Silicon Valley, we always made it a point to begin our work with a stop at the Buena Vista for some attitude adjustment prior to moving on to San Jose and Santa Clara. A few hours of simply unwinding while recovering from jet lag really helped.
Nowadays, the wife and I love the Irish coffee in the evenings, so much so that I gifted her with the special glasses this year.
Enjoy, http://www.thebuenavista.com/irishcoffee2.html and have a blessed Christmas!
The cream is best served at room temp, and bourbon or scotch both work well as substitutes. The key is to keep everything HOT, as in room temp cream, hot glasses, room temp liquor, and HOT coffee.
GOD BLESS YOU ALL!
