Hello from Texas
Greetings fellows
Fond this site on accident when looking for a pattern on the Argyll jacket for my wife. She is a great seemstress and made my Prince Charlie and vest from a pattern. She is currently doing my Agyll jacket from the conversion thread on this site. I started out with one kilt from SWK and bought at least five others. Since it seems I was out of control I sold off all but two. My family is mostly Irish with some Scottish Murphy, O'Kelly and Olgilivie. When I have some more time I plan on doing more research but I have traced back to the Shetland Isles. One grandmother was a member of DAR and a desendent of the King family very heavy English roots. I posted a few pictures under father and son kilts. My son loves to wear a kilt and will always demand he wear his if I am wearing mine. Good to be here and looking forward to meeting others
Sean

I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…

Welcome to the Rabble from the Valley of the Sun!
FYI, owning six kilts is hardly "out of control" to the gents on this forum. For a many of us, that's just a good start!
Good on ya for raising your son up right!
