I saw it too, but Moosedog has a thread where she describes being in a kilted wedding party where the Maid of Honor really was a man!!!

I was going to be the Dude of honor at a friends wedding, there was some concern from the grooms side, so I ended up being "Frodo the ring-bearer".
Good times.

JC and KT have a mutual best friend - there's been some "discussion" as to which side of the aisle he will end up on
I'll keep an eye out for the trailer.

When I first saw the title, I thought it was Medal of Honor (The game). I was thinking "Hey a WWII battle in the perspective of the Scots?Cool!"

My wife sent me a link to an article talking about how the guy got eaten up by midges wearing a kilt. The Parade section of the paper this morning had a pic and it looked more like a woman's mini skirt than a kilt. I'll try to scan the pic later.

It looked like the standard base humor I've come to expect from Hollywood these days. Good for some cheap laughs, but not much else.

Here in OZ we call the position Matron of Honour.
But 9 years ago I did exactly this. A friend of mine was marrying an guy from the UK (after meeting on the web), the only person he knew well enough to ask as his attendant(or best man) was a female friend, so Julia asked me to be "Matron of Honour". It was quite an honour actually and we are still great friends though we live at least 3 hours away by plane.
I surprised her greatly by shaving my beard of for the event (could you imagine a bearded Matron of Honour after all), she almost didn't recognise me at the airport.
Do it if you get the opportunity. I wasn't kilt wearing at the time, so that didn't happen, Julia would have loved it if I did though.
