My First Utilikilt (Mocker)
I received my first Utilikilt today. It is a preowned Mocker I got from eBay for just under $80 with shipping. This one looks to be in great condition. For what they sell for new and used I believe that I got a very good deal. Wow, after wearing four SWK kilts this is a different item to wear. Not bad, but different. The material is soft and I like how the pleats are stitched. That should be a big plus when it needs pressing. I do wish the to top two snaps were at the waist band. The end corners of the apron want to rest above the top edge. A belt fixes that with no problem (belly). I have rather small hands and I find the pocket openings to be very small. With this kilt being used before I can see some slight strain at the stitching at one end of one of the pockets. Anyone else had this experience? One thing that I do not care much for the looks of, but works great is the narrow apron when you set down. With the legs spread just a bit the apron drops all by itself to a very vertical angle.
I think that I will like the kilt very much, but I am concerned about using the pockets.
I did not have time for pictures tonight. I will try tomorrow night.
Later,
Natester
