    New 'How to Wear' video

After the warm reception given to me wee 'Made Easy' e-book, I've been trying my hand at video recently too. We've already got dozens illustrating different kilts and outfits. But there's a couple in particular that some of you may be interested in... especially anyone newer to kilt wearing. A few weeks ago I did one on how to measure for a traditional 8 yard kilt (casual version coming soon). And I've just a few minutes ago uploaded the latest... a guide to how to wear a full formal outfit.

They can all be found at
    http://www.youtube.com/user/TartanKiltsByScotweb

    Or at:
    http://www.scotweb.co.uk/newsite/info

I realise that some of what I say is basically personal view, and I've tried to show alternative ways of doing things in a couple of instances. But I hope it'll be useful to a few folk. Any feedback gratefully received!

Some very nice videos there Nick, I'm sure that they will help many a beginner, one thing I found curious is the way the model has his Ghillies tied, I've never seen them tied that way before.

Very informative video. Wish I'd have seen it before my first kilt purchase. It should prove to be most helpfull to new kilt wearers.

Hey there, Nick. I found the video on tying the brogues to be extremely helpful. I have huge, muscular calves, and the first two methods of tying the laces don't work for me. The low tie method looks like it would be a lifesaver!

Thank you Nick for some very interesting and, for the newcomer to kilt wearing, informaive videos.

I have not yet had time to watch them all, but I shall work my way through them in the near future.

    Well done!

    Take care,
    Ham.

[PS: I am absolutely thrilled with my recently acquired Buchanan, Old Sett, Weathered kilt from KiltStore. Not only is it extremely well tailored and comfortable (a perfect fit), but the gorgeously colourful tartan has elicited more compliments from strangers than almost any of the other 89 kilts in my 'Kollection'. My thanks to you and your team.]

Great videos Nick. What's the tartan in the "How to Wear a Prince Charlie" video?

    *edit*
Looks like Glen's helped me narrow it down: appears to be MacDonald of Clanranald in the ancient coloring. I've not seen that other than swatch form. What a fantastic sett that one is!
