A gentler sgian (handle)
For those who don't appreciate the graceful beauty of snakes, here's something entirely different.
I sculpted this sgian handle from SuperSculpey polymer clay & a single piece of white oak. Into the goo and soon a solid mold is made.
This was poured less than an hour ago using polyurethane left over from another project. It is a one piece figurine. The indentations are marks for the attachment of copper 'rivets'. Not 'ribbits'.
Actively working on a 'longneck beer bottle'-handled sgian dubh-brew.

Roadkill frog doesn't usually cast well. Nice job on the sculpture... Too cute!

Don't be so analytical.
It's art... let it flow around and over you.

Cool JS I like it. It would definately be a unique look sticking out of the top of your hose.

That is going to look cool. I like the idea of the frog looking out from above the sock top.
Are you planning to paint the frog to look more lifelike?

I'm impressed Steve! Another great looking piece!
A lot of talented people 'round these parts.
I have always tempered my killing with respect for the game pursued. I see the animal not only as a target but as a living creature with more freedom than I will ever have. I take that life if I can, with regret as well as joy, and with the sure knowledge that nature's ways of fang and claw or exposure and starvation are a far crueler fate than I bestow. - Fred Bear
