Todays fun
Today my Brother, Dad and I went to my where I work part time so my brother (Jon) can get the truck that I was holding for him.
Of course I went kilted in my SWK Weathered McKenzie (standard). The temp was about 28 degrees or so, and my Dad says "You're not very smart are ya?" Of course I play dumb and ask him what does he mean. He then points to the kilt and says that I'm gonna freeze. I play it off, and the three of us head up to the store. Once I get there all the newer ppl are gawking at me in a kilt, I get asked why I'm wearing it, aren't you cold, and when are the "games".
I play it all down and then the general manager asks why am I wearing it, and I give my usual answer; I like wearing kilts, you should try it sometime. That justs gets me a very strange look from him as I walk away.
All in all it was fun, and it was slightly chilly when the wind picked up but the SWK standard is a very warm kilt for milder winter weather.
