    Accustomed to the Kilt

It's been a busy few months and I've not been around much though I have stuck my head in few times to see what was going on. My wife has realized how accustomed she is to seeing me in a kilt. She had gone on a quilters retreat the other weekend so I had to pick her up. The lady she was riding with had never seen me before and my wife hadn't mentioned the kilt. As they pulled into the parking lot my wife said "there's my husband" and the lady driving broke into a big grin and told my wife she was going to have to tell her the story behind the kilt at the next meeting. My wife is so used to the kilt she hadn't thought to warn them. Later, after stopping at the store on the way home there was another encounter. My wife was coming back from returning the cart and she saw a girl driving through the parking lot grinning real big and looking at me rather than where she was going. She told it looked like the girl was happy to see me. When asked about the kilt my dear wife is quick to point out three things, He's comfortable, it makes him happy, and it makes a statement. Other women tend to agree with the part about making a statement.
