Today was the Pre-Saint Patrick’s Day parade, which is held in Aggieville. Last year I was kilted as well but it was a good twenty degrees colder. This year the weather was cooperative and the crowds were decent.
I marched with my local Shrine group carrying the banner. Along the way I saw a real nice red kilted gentleman but never saw him again, and there was a photographer that was wearing an Utilikilt.
At the end of the parade with the Kansas State fire truck.
Here we have a couple of lovely lasses that wanted their picture taken with the kilted gentleman. You guys can shoot me, because I was not on my game and did not try for a phone number.I was sick at 0515 this morning and was not even sure if I was going to make the parade, even the Guinness was not tasting that good to me.
Green beer and two pipers.
This young woman was part of the entourage of pipers and was very nice. As you can see many of the bars opened at 0900!
