My USAK is USA road tested
Hey Y'all-
I'm proud to say that I wore my USAK IoS Casual the whole length. Even stopping in the Mojave to check my care being towed in 118 degree heat. It took a beating, but MAN-It was comfortable!!!
One side note-On my way, I stopped in Memphis for about 3 hours to meet a potential vendor. While on Beale, my kilt was thumbs-upped by about a dozen African-Americans who properly knew to call it a kilt. On the reverse, there were a few confused comments....not necessarily negative, but sort of "Why you wearing a skirt?" from whites....
I've actually noticed this same familiarity in Atlanta...Somehow it is properly addressed and accepted by almost 100% of African Americans I meet/know/ or happen across...I think its awesome though!
