Memorials & Service for Retro Red
Dear Brothers and Sisters,
Several have asked about arrangements for Craig's memorial service, and where to send condolences.
Moments ago, I spoke with Diane about these questions. She will be meeting with their pastor on Friday to discuss the details of the service. That means that a time for the service won't be set until Friday. Most likely, the service will be sometime next week.
In the meantime, she and their son are considering some of the places where memorial gifts might be sent. She will let me know when that decision is made. They will also make a decision of where to send cards. We don't want to put names and addresses on a public forum, so we will figure out someway to address the issue (was that a pun?)
As information is available, I will post it in this thread.
At some point I'll put something up about how I met Craig. My only regret is that I didn't have the opportunity to know him longer. He certainly left an indelible impression on me.
By the way, he was a connoisseur of single malt Scotch. That would be his beverage of choice for a toast.

These days many newspapers and funeral homes have websites where statements of condolence and sympathy can be written.

Just because you are paranoid doesn't mean they aren't out to get you.

As will I. It's the second time I've had to do that for a fellow single malt lover who lost a battle to cancer.

I've been saving a special 17 year old from Glen Ord, from the Scotch Whisky Society. Hoped to have it for a happy occasion, but Craig would appreciate it - and deserves it.
